Working life

I have not written here in a long time and I would like to update it mroe but with the work that I am doing I just dont get time. My work keeps me busy and my freelancing job does not let me sleep. i gues I should be greatfull to have a job becasue the are not so many jobs here in South Africa and the crime rate just keeps on going sky high. I am greatful that i had all the oportunities that I have and I know that I am blessed and I thank the lord everyday.

I have realised that the way you think influences the way you live and it is important that you think of happy thoughts and always think good things and good things will happen to you. I love blogging because I can share some of my secretes in life. i did not get where I am because of that alone, the lord is my  inpiration and he guides me and shows me the right direction.

Just to update you on what I have been doing for the past months. I started working in a new company which is a translation agency, i have learnet a lot from the people that I work with. It is diffrent from what i knw because they translate phamaceutical documents and I am so used to translating software and technical stuff. I am getting used to working on those types of documents though.

I recently went to book for my learners licence and I was so happy because I am going to start driving soon, well firrst I need to buy a car.

I have been neglecting my volunter work becasue I have been so busy with my paying job. I know that i must do my bit in making sure that everything that I use and what I think might be used by Zulu speakers is localised in their language. I am in love with localisation and I would like to be more involved in it, but at the moment I am not getting an offers that I feel can benefit my language.

I hate working on a translation that I know that the people who are going to be reading it will not appreciate my work, in website translation and in localisation it is not like that, people recognise your work and they actually take you seriously, that is what I want. I want my work to be appreciated and be recognised, not be famous lol. I want to help the community tat I live in the the people that look up to me.

I am young and I still have a lot of good to do in the world with the guide of the Lord.

A Dedication to the Almighty

Sometimes it si so hard to live and not ruffle a few feathers but that is part of life, we have lots of people we don't like or maybe we are afraid of other people and that makes it so hard to live amongs people, You knoa I am just saying! I don not blame those people who go out in the juggle and leave by themselves, I would also do that if I had no loved ones in the world and the only way I can have someone to share things with is by getting married to a drunk who beats me everyday until I bleed.

So you see if you are a person and the only feeling you have expirienced in this world is pain, I would do that. But you see there is an ulternative way, and this has been proven and it works, GOD. Yep I said it the big guy is the solution for all aour problems, he is the alfa the omega. What can go wrong if you have him by your side.

What ever sorrow pain or anything of that nature that you are going through hecan sooth the pain, HE CAN. I have expirienced that first hand and no I am happy that he has found me because I was so lost it is not even funny.

I dedicate my life to him and I owe him for everything in my life. I thank him for the things he has provided me and the things he has taken from me. I thank him for opening up my farthe's heart and I believe that many people's hearts will be open too.

Today I have decided to dedicate this Blog to him as I have dedicated my whole life to him. I am a sinner and I need him to take me out of that sin. I hope that someone will see this blog and dedicate their blog to the Lord and nothing will go wrong in their lived because they have chossen to open their lives to the lord. He loves us humans and we should know that there is nothing he would not do for us. Today I am saying thank you lord, you are worthy to be praised.

Localisation in South Africa

Many people have not realised that their computer represents them, their personality. What do people think when the look at you computer, what language it comminicates in, what background image you have, what screensaver your using. If you have a picture of a lion on your background people will know that you love wild life or lions. That is what should happen when people look at your computer so your computer should speak your language too.

I like many people did not know that this is actually porssible until I went to uviversit studied translation got my degree and realised that this world is bigger that I thought, technology is bigger than I though. I this time I thought technology was selfish. I have been part of a team that translated one of the biggest web browsers in the world "Firefox", we were all volunteering and now it feels so good to see my browser communicating with me in isiZulu.

People have the right to have their computers communicating in their language, all languages are the same and that should show. I am proud to speak my language and type in my language, so should you. Open Source is the best thing since fire.

My book review

This video was recorded in my bedroom and its basically a review of four books written by South African authors that I totally love. The one that I enjoyed the most is the one titled "Some of my best friends are white", its a great book written so openly that you will not feel offended about it, you can just tell that the writer actually lived the situations he mantions in the book. I enjoyed it.

Bundle of Joy

Well this cute this is my sisters second born, I love her to bits. She makes cute faces when she sees me and that makes my heart so warm and fuzzy. I know I know kids are great when they are young and cute but when they grow up they become nasty as hell. Speaking of unpleasant children, my sister's first born puts the D to the word disaster(as you can see from the video we did together), yoh she is suck a handful and she is the reason why I don't want to have kids any time soon. Although I love them both I try to get away from them as fast as I can.

I don't go gaga over other people's babies, that makes me weird I know, but what is all the fuss about. I mean why be nice to a child/toddler of stranger when you know damn well that your not gonna bond with them. All you moms out there I respect you for raising these respectful, not demanding, cute for ever, non-messy, humble, un-curious little bunddles of joy. But I am not having one anytime soon if not ever.

Nicki minaj

Personally I am a huge fan even though I think here ass is so fake. She is so comfortable with who she is like I am, well I would like to think that. I like the way she dresses sometimes, I wouldn't be caught dead wearing some of the clothes she wears. Saw a video of her in YouTube of her and Rihanna and Rihanna grabbed her ass, when I looked at that ass I was convinced that it is so fake.

Ok enough about the black Barbie, love her to bits.  I have a totally cool channel on Youtube, and I have realised that I South Africa people are not into youtube I mean Hello its like thee best website since INTERNET get with the program people. And again what is up with all this S.A artists not puting their music on Youtube, that is why people are pireting you flippin music because they cant find them anywhere. Think like a business man/woman if you put your stuff out there on Youtube you can make alot of money when people view your videos.

I searched for a song by Thandiswa mazwai called revelation, and I could not find it hello just because its in stores doesn't mean you cant put it anywhere else. American artist post their latest videos there. OK let me make it really simply its like TV you put it there so that people can buy your CD and another thing its better than TV because you can make a lot of money from advertisers. THINK ABOUT IT SOUTH AFRICAN ARTISTS.

Does it really matter

Well I have lived in South Africa and I have to say that I love the people, even if most of them are not friendly but some of them are. I love living here there is so much to do AND YET SO LITTLE TIME.
